I had such a lovely surprise today – no not the dentist appointment I had to trawl off to this morning – but instead a gift in the post. I received a gorgeous sewing kit from my friend V, from Hamble and Jemima.
After browsing through their website, I now have a million gift ideas for others. As well as stocking ‘make it yourself’ kits, they also carry a range of cute fabrics, buttons and ribbons. I’m also doubly pleased as I’m going to The Make Lounge in London this evening for a sewing class so hopefully I’ll be able to make my bag easily after I’ve learnt some sewing skills…
