When I saw Lorna Syson’s stand at this year’s 100% Design festival, I immediately stopped to take a second look. (It was the yellow bird lamp shade above that did it.) I was attracted by Lorna’s use of colour and geometric shapes – I think that they draw the eye in superbly.
Lorna’s designs are inspired by natural influences from the Great British outdoors. Her range includes fabric rolls, wallpapers, lampshades and cushions which are all available to buy from her online store.
Lorna also creates three dimensional wall flowers, as seen above. I think that these are such a creative alternative to more traditional forms of wall art, don’t you?
Be sure to click on over to Lorna’s site to find out more information on this talented designer and to keep up to date with her latest news via her journal.

These are so pretty, I love the lampshades too! Ones for the wishlist methinks!
I completely agree!
Lorna’s lampshades are my best sellers in Folkestone
Hi Barbara, what’s the name of your shop? Are you on line? I grew up in Ashford so will have to pop down to your shop when I’m next visiting my parents!
