On Wednesday evening I spent a lovely hour at the new Anthropologie store in Richmond, Surrey at the Red magazine Christmas styling master class. With a glass of bubbly in one hand and a shopping basket in the other, it was a great way to spend an evening after a busy work day!

You can see Red magazine’s lifestyle director, Pip McCormac, getting ready to share his styled Christmas table above. The table featured a great centre piece with some beautiful tableware. There were so many details that I stopped for quite a while to have a good look. I also spent some time at the Christmas cracker making station during the evening and picked up a template which I’m hoping to use to make my own table crackers with this year. I’ll let you know if they turn out well and try to share a tutorial if I can.

All in all, not a bad way to start the Christmas shopping season in my opinion! Plus, the Red goody bag was a nice treat to take home at the end of the night. Well, after all that shopping for other people…
