1 day 12 pics

I decided to take part in #1day 12 pics  again this month. This month I tried really hard to inject more colour into my photographs and also looked out for interesting details to record. I spent the morning at a bloggers brunch (my first ever) which was hosted by the talented Terri from The Lovely Drawer and then went for a walk in West London in the afternoon. All in all it was a great day. Here are my photographs for this month…

BrunchWe enjoyed some rather gorgeous food, beautifully styled at Terri’s brunch. She had gone to such a lot of effort and it was great to pick up some presentation tips for another time!

FlowersAfter brunch, Toby and I headed to Hampton Court for a walk and some coffee. The coffee shop we were in had made a display out of some satsumas which were too colourful to miss.

dogI spotted this little fella keeping an eye on us as we browsed in a junk shop. Best guard dog ever in my opinion.

Dusk

The evening was drawing in as we left the high street and walked back to the car but there was just enough light left to grab one more picture.

As you can see, I still haven’t managed to take an image an hour for 12 hours yet but I’m happy recording the day in the best way I can for now. I’d like to continue this throughout 2015 and then create a book with the photos from each month at the end of the year. I did something similar in 2013 which you can read about here.

Until then, I’ll be looking forward to doing this again in December. Why don’t you join in?
