Good evening friends, how was your weekend? So I have some exciting news to share with you – my home is in this month’s edition of Home Style magazine! My apologies for the slightly dodgy image here. I took a quick snap out of the magazine on my i-phone but you can go and grab the May edition now and see the full home tour for yourself.

It was a real honour to be contacted by the magazine and asked to share my home with their readers and a privilege to be involved. The shoot happened back in February and I spent the day at home with a photographer and lovely stylist called Abbie from the magazine. I know I’ve been talking about our new home for a few months now but not showing many images and this is why. I wanted to wait for the magazine to come out so now that its here, head on down to your local newsagents and check it out there if you’d like to see a home tour. Now that the magazine has been published I’ll be sharing a few more posts from around our home, including a bedroom makeover so be sure to check back in for that.

I’m still busy working behind the scenes with my first interior decorating client as well and learning lots. I’ll be sharing the planning processes behind the room schemes I’ve been creating for them with you soon, as well as some top tips for how to prepare when meeting with new interior decorating/design clients. I’ve had some successes and some definite learning moments which I’m collating together into a post for you so that you can learn from my experiences.
